No matter what personal or public program buzzwords they use
It’s Still HOMELESSNESS.
With an annual $30 trillion economy, we believe no one should have to remain chronically homeless, sleep on public streets, or lack access to restroom, bathing or eating facilities anywhere in the U. S.
Our Homelessness Remediation Focus
Social Infrastructure is focused on REDUCING homelessness and transitioning people to permanent homes they can afford to maintain. With a yearly $30 trillion dollar economy, we also believe no one should have to remain chronically homeless, sleep on public streets, or lack access to restroom, bathing, and eating facilities. Our staff, volunteers and those we serve work collectively to attack the root causes and effects of prolonged homelessness – unemployment, poverty, mental illness, unhealthy lifestyles, physical deterioration, and substance abuse
Our work in this area is not designed to validate homeless conditions or continue with ineffective and inefficient program methodology that clearly doesn’t work. From inception, our programs empower the most vulnerable community members to improve their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), seek secured housing, and become active participants in their own lives so as not to become permanently dependent on Public Aid. This is not the norm among many nonprofits in the marketplace. Then again, we are not the norm and never could be.
