Programs & Special Initiatives

We source, fund, manage and partner with the most effective Affordable Housing nonprofits, foundations, and fund donors to execute our social enterprise programs and projects – game changing initiatives that help solve our community’s most pressing social problems.

Social Infrastructure aligns our program grantmaking and project funding approach with measurable milestones for employment mobility, increases in housing units, verifiable reentry data, and integrated supportive services.

Affordable & Supportive Housing

Our Housing Social Enterprise acts as a fully integrated developer, asset manager and owner. Thus, we are able to design, rehab, build, and property manage affordable home communities with residents’ needs at the center. Led by our construction industry partners and social impact investors, we enjoy meeting the challenge of elevating and transforming housing affordability innovations into real property solutions.

Professional Workforce
Development

Our Employment Social Enterprise (ESE) is the mission-driven, revenue-generating business of Social Infrastructure.  In addition to our proprietary Workforce Development programs, we partner with leading employers to provide paying transitional jobs, on the job training, job credentialing, and job-related supportive services. Helping people stabilize their lives affords them better opportunities to develop a work history, generate higher incomes, and build careers with confidence.

Reentry Services

The Reentry Programs + Projects division is based in Pasadena, CA and is
dedicated to men and women reentering society from homelessness, incarceration, military service, prolonged unemployment, recovery, or some other prolonged period of absence. Operating under the One-Stop-Shop model, these professionals provide comprehensive services such as resume preparation, professional wardrobing, job training, and ongoing wraparound services for program participants.

Homeless Remediation

Operating under the Housing First concept, our Homeless Services combine the best of personal accountability, effective case management and our commitment to rapid re-housing. In addition, we sponsor our own housing vouchers designed to house people quickly, stop eviction and keep renters housed, and assist homeowners at risk of immediate foreclosure. In addition, our CareGear™ campaigns have generated unprecedented demand for these health, hygiene, and grooming supplies among homeless and reentry populations.

Individual and Infrastructure Capacity Building

People and communities cannot move forward without stable housing, health, employment and infrastructure resources. And just
like you can’t teach or train effectively without technology and cloud-based software. One cannot expect people to work hard over
time without economic mobility, nor people to maintain optimal neighborhoods when the housing stock remains deteriorated.
Social Infrastructure provides targeted funding, supportive services, and tailored solutions to strengthen our participant’s existing
support systems, technology tools, and overall organizational impact.

HCI Accelerator (R2E)

Provides C-level project and program services to help individuals with the resources needed to start, operate and scale businesses of all types.

KnowMentum™ Grants

Grantees receive One-Stop-Shop workforce
training to obtain a degree, certification, or
professional license. Training include Skilled
Trades, STEM fields, and other in-demand
industries.

Reentry to Employment (R2E)

Reentry onsite workshops, consultations, advisory and customized supportive services to help individuals successfully reenter society.

OUR GOALS FOR THE “REAL WORK”:

It takes more than money to end homelessness – We are committed to actually sticking a shovel in the ground and getting new Affordable Housing built, financed, rehabbed, repurposed, managed, and occupied.

Professional Workforce Training helps “future-proof” employment opportunities
Our Workforce Development activities are educating and training people from all walks of life complete skills-based training, professional licensing, and industry certifications.

“Housing First” concept must be executed with accountability – We deploy a whole person care approach to helping the homeless, including pathways to substance abuse treatment, family reconnections, healthcare and supportive services.

Intractable barriers to Reentry can and will be overcome – Capital, job resources, and tailored supportive services significantly increase the odds for people returning from military deployment, incarceration, substance abuse, prolonged unemployment, etc.

Always driving effective and efficient Philanthropy – Our impact metrics show compelling reasons and verifiable impact to donors that earn their consideration, time, money, and most of all – respect.

Accelerators can fuel transformative entrepreneurship – We deliver the capital, advisory, live-work mentorship, connections and resources to help entrepreneurs and startup ventures succeed in the marketplace.
